Meet Our Founder …
Ever since I was a little girl, all I ever wanted to be was a Nurse. Thankfully, that dream did become a reality for me! Having spent over 20 years working in the healthcare system as a Nurse, and eventually as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I have had the honor of being able to witness the many joys and sorrows of the human journey.
But … in 2016 something pretty significant happened that totally and forever changed the trajectory of my career. I became acutely aware of the amount of fraud, waste, and abuse in our healthcare system and the direct impact it was having on my friends, my family, and my community. I learned that 90% of medical bills contained errors; that 50% of Americans carried medical debt; and that 62% of all personal bankruptcies were related to medical debt.
Many of us are only ONE illness away from bankruptcy!!
I knew I could no longer be a part of the system and needed to be part of a solution. I set out to create tools & resources you would need to be able to protect yourself and your loved ones from medical fraud, waste, and abuse, as well as protect your financial security.
As a Nurse, I believe that I have a personal and ethical responsibility to share all of my knowledge, skills, and resources so that I can have your back!
I’m on a mission to change the paradigm … to put the consumers of healthcare in CONTROL of their healthcare system!
