The ToolKit
The ToolKit contains 12 sections to organize information related to your insurance carriers, providers, facilities, ancillary services, and pharmacies. It also includes a calendar for your medical appointments, correspondence logs to keep track of your communications, and many bonuses such as customizable templates to use when corresponding with your hospital or provider. Throughout the ToolKit, there are instructions on how to identify billing errors along with resources you can turn to for additional information.
The Medical Appointment Journal
The Medical Appointment Journal is a guided journal that supports you in keeping a record of what transpired at your appointments and hospitalizations. At the beginning of the Journal, we teach you how to take notes the same way your health professionals do. It’s called the SOAP Method, and it stands for Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan. Being prepared for your appointments and having a record of what you and your provider discussed during your appointment is one of the first steps to having a collaborative relationship with your provider.
